My friend Tia had her baby girl.......Charly! We have been waiting for her for awhile. The boys are crazy about her and I am glad maybe this will satisfy them for awhile! Isn't her bow cute???? I am sure glad I got it at quilted bear in Utah!

Crew's Summer Birthday Celebration 2009

Another reason I love Gateway.....Crew had the best day and loved celebrating his birthday a few months early! Each year Gateway has a special Summer birthday celebration for those who's birthdays are in the Summer. So fun and I can't believe that Crew is going to be 4! Such a joy to have around and with so much spunk there is never a dull moment!!!!

On Friday we took a little trip to the pet store.....to visit the kitties! We brought Dallas and Taylor with us to show them Trenton and Crew's favorite animals. We had a great time and the kids just loved it!

Mother's Day 2009

Mother's Day was an all weekend extravaganza! We had both sets of parents over to celebrate on Saturday night with tri-tip steak and lots of other yummy food. It was nice to get to visit and share some special time with them. On Sunday we had a very nice church service and I was relieved of my calling for both 2nd and 3rd hour.....so nice! I got to sit in on a very special Mother's Day lesson. When we got home we ate quickly and then hiked the Mtn. my favorite thing to do and to top it off the Moody's joined us. It was a very beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable day. Thanks to all the special Mother's in my life, I am thankful for all that you do for me, all that you have taught me and for your sweet examples. I polished off my Mother's Day with a 12.2 mile bike ride and boy did it feel good. Thanks to Brent for making my day so perfect. The boys and Brent got me a camelback for hiking and exercising.....I Love it!!!(Us and the Moody's --I guess Trenton thinks he is part of their family!)

Trenton's Mother's Day gifts

Man have I been spoiled this week already......Trenton made me this cute lady bug pin and a piece of pottery. I love it! He also made me a cute card with coupons I can use for a massage from him, him getting dressed without me asking and bike ride together! So sweet. I love being a mother and am thankful for the blessings I get from having two fun, sweet, and energetic little boys.

Mother's Day Tea & May Day

Crew and I had a special Mother's Day Tea at his school today. It was complete with singing, cake and apple juice. His teacher made each child a photo album to remember their year. So CUTE!

Women's Conference 2009 -- A Special Time with my Mom and Sister

Being with my Sister and my sweet Mother, listening to uplifting music, gathering information from speakers, Utah's snow cap mountains, visiting family, Temple square and feeling the ever so strong spirit ='s a wonderful week in UTAH! I had a great time this past week listening to speakers talk about our Savior and giving me much needed information on how I can become a better me. I can't wait until next year! We drove down on Wednesday and yes we shopped and shopped and then finally arrived at Verl's (my cousin) late. We had to be up early to get to the conference. Thankfully Verl's house was very close to campus. We made it to the opening session and from that time forward it was a very big spiritual high. Thursday night was definitely a highlight for me....we had the opportunity to hear several awesome music artists. My favorite being Hilary Weeks! After the show you could get autographs and pictures with each artist. We loved every minute of it! Friday's closing session was L. Tom Perry. Wow so awesome! He urged us to use our blogs, utube, and facebook to share the gospel. So use it girls! On Saturday we made a quick stop by Temple square...it was raining but the sun did peek through. I think this was one of my favorite trips. I am thankful for a sweet mother who cared enough to share this awesome experience with me!
