Wow what a week! I have decided that I am going to do a weekly blog rather then everyday......so here it goes. This past week we did lots of roller hockey at the local outdoor rink. Trenton loves anything to do with hockey so he has been in seventh heaven. Soccer is still going and Trenton is very good at scoring. He says that this weeks game was 21 to 1 so they killed them. I tried to explain to him that the other team probably feels really bad because of the score and I asked him if he feels bad for them and of course he said no....I guess we are going to have to have a little lesson on this. The boys learned how to clean the toilets. Oh I am so glad they are excited about it now. Hopefully they will continue to be for many years to come! Spiderman X2 has been visiting our house lately hopefully the costumes will last until Halloween. It is fun to watch the boys imagine and make believe. We were able to go to Othello to help my sister and brother in law move. They sold their house and are going to build but they have to live in a small 1800 square foot home while they do that. It was so fun to visit and see our family. We also enjoyed the Mountain Men & Indians at Sacajawea park. Trenton thought it was really cool to see all their exhibits. A church on Sunday it was the Primary program......Trenton had a little part "I can help my family to be happy by choosing the right". Brent also had a part he didn't know about.......he gave the closing prayer. Wow how he has grown in the gospel. It is so AWESOME! We also had our ward boundaries changed so we go to the new Keene church building and our new ward is "Candy Mt." So lots of changes but we are excited to have a small ward again. It was 600 and something and now it will be 300 so we will actually get a soft comfy seat and be able to know everybody! As you can see Crew enjoys all of Trenton's activities he just meets new friends and has a great time. Thanks Papa & Nana for coming to the program and taking us to the park!

Weekend Recap!
Well alot has happened this weekend......On Friday Trenton had his friend Cael over to play and we went and fed the ducks but the boys were to afraid so they fed them from inside the car. After the ducks we went to McDonald's. They all had fun even Crew. Saturday started very early with hockey evals at 7:00am so Trenton and Mommy were up very early getting ready and then at 9:00am he had a soccer game. He did very well at both. Papa returned home from a month and a half in Alaska fishing. We were sure glad he made it home safe. He is trying to get rid of a bad infection in his finger from a crab shell so he's not feeling up to par, but we are just glad to have him back. He brought home tons of halibut, crab, and salmon.....his biggest fish was over 200lbs. Needless to say I think we will have enough for several months. Thanks Dad! Saturday night the boys went to the hockey game with their Papa and Mom and Dad enjoyed an evening with Steve, Ang and Gavin. As you can see Crew got his Halloween costume alittle early so I hope it lasts.....he hasn't taken it off except to go to church. Today we celebrated my Dad's birthday and enjoyed having all the family around. It was sure a fun filled weekend. Enjoy the pics.

Soccer Time AGAIN!
Trenton has started his soccer season with hockey close behind. I'm not sure why I do this to myself, but I do love to see him play. He has had two successful games with lots of goals at each. He keeps telling me that they won by a million. Kids are so cute!

One FULL week!
The boys made it through their first full week of school. They are so dang cute and seem so grown up. Crew has decided that if I tell him I will come back to pick him up then he can be big and not cry. It is so cute. He did very well this week. Trenton has also adjusted very well and loves every minute of going to the big school. He even got to do the surprise box this week and was so excited. I think I am having a harder time with it then they ever will but I will too get over it. Brent tells me I need to get a job and everybody else tells me I need a new baby.....Ummmmm I am not sure I want either. So I guess I will have to get busy doing something. I am so proud to be a Mother and love my boys so much.

A childhood friend of mine......
I've been wanting to post about a friend of mine that needs any help she can get. I think most of you who read my blog are mothers so this story will probably touch you as much as it has me. Carol and I lived down the street from each other growing up. For some reason I always thought she was so cool and we seemed to get along good. As we both grew up we lost contact until one of our mutual friends told me about her tragic story a few months back. Carol contracted a very serious infection while pregnant with her second daughter. She has since lost both legs from the knee down, her left hand, and her sight. You can visit the link on my side bar and http://www.komonews.com/news/28125714.html?video=YHI&t=a for her full story. If you can help please do and pass the word along.

Then and NOW
Here are a couple of Trenton's friends that have known each other since they were 6 months old. As most of you know Trenton has started Kindergarten and loves it. Halle is the little girl with blond hair and Spencer is the boy with blond hair both of which go to Trenton's school also and are in Kindergarten at the same time. It's so fun to have friends you know.

BYU vs. UW
We had a great time with several of our friends from our ward. We all got tickets to the BYU vs. UW game and boy was it a good game. I never thought that I would enjoy a college football game but I was wrong. Brent also enjoyed it and we don't even like sports....except.....HOCKEY! GOOOOOO COUGARS!

A big 1st at the Martell's ---SCHOOL!
WE all survived! I can't believe I actually survived a morning on my own without two little sweethearts tagging along. Trenton and Crew both started school today. Trenton had no worries just couldn't wait to get there and get in his class. He was awake at 6:00am asking when it was time to go. Crew on the other hand loved taking Trenton to school but wasn't quite sure about going to his big pre-school all by himself. He cried when we left but was having a great time when I got there to pick him up. His first comment was "why you not stay with me....you not go home". SO dang cute. I love to see my boys start new adventures in their lives but it breaks my heart when I am not with them. So here's to a great first year of school.
