Oh So SUNNY!

We enjoyed our Sunny 63 degree weather by hiking the mountain behind our house. It was so nice and we didn't even see any snakes. Until we do we will probably be there every Thursday.

Taking a little break.........It was alittle hard carrying an extra 25 pounds.
But worth it!

Trenton and the STAR Players

These are the pictures of Trenton awarding the star players from the Feb. 16th game against Spokane. This is the time that Trenton got the signed Ams stick.

The red headed girl and several other red headed girls sit in front of my Dad at the game and have for many years. They love Trenton and are always giving him high five and anything else to make him smile. He really thinks they are cool.

Our Toothless Boy!

Before the wiggling

After the wiggling

Proud toothless boy

Holding his tiny little tooth in his hands!

Today was the big day. Trenton got his tooth "wiggled" as they call it. When we got in the car he was so surprised when he looked in the mirror. He kept saying how did I loose my tooth. He was then so excited to show all his friends at school. Last night before we went to bed I was talking to him about the tooth fairy. I told him that she sometimes brings money or a prize. He said oh Mom I know what I want her to bring.......an x-box 360. I said oh honey the tooth fairy doesn't have that kind of money. So tonight the tooth fairy will be dumping out her piggy bank and leaving a surprise.

Trenton's BIG Lip

For the past two days Trenton has had a big/huge top lip. He is so tough that he just said it hurt and went on with his day. Last night Brent and I were laying there with him and we decided to check it out with a flashlight. He was really good showing us all his teeth and then........I saw this big bump above his front tooth. When Trenton was 2 1/2 he was at Pre-School and he hit his mouth on a toy outside. We took him to the dentist and he said we could pull it or leave it and watch it. Of course I didn't want my cute little boy to not have a front tooth for 5 years so I said lets just watch it. Well the time has come and we now have an abscessed tooth and he will be getting it pulled on Monday. I am a little sad to have to do this but what the heck he will look like a really Hockey Player! Right?

A Week FULL of Landscaping!

Day 1

Day 3

Day 4 Final Display

We have 4 days to transform the rodeo arena into a living backyard. Brent has been successful at this for the past 6 years and every year we say we are not doing it again. It is alot of work but so AWESOME!

Celebrating Valentines & Our Anniversary - - alittle late

We decided that since our Anniversary was so close to V-Day we would fit them both into one day. We went to the Temple with our good friends the Moody's and then went to dinner at Anthony's. It was so yummy. The boys were with Papa & Nana having a great time.

Big Night for Trenton

It seems to always fall on a night that we are not there. After the American's game Saturday night, Trenton was chosen to award the star players from the game down on the ice. He got to meet and have a picture taken with Spokane's goalie Dustin Tokarski. He loves goalies and thinks they are the bomb so that was a big highlight, then to top it off he got the signed stick of TJ Fast and got to meet him and have his picture taken with him on the ice. Wish we were there to see his face! I will post the pics when I get them from the Ams people.

Go American's!

Trenton with Chet
Trenton & Ty in the locker room!
Trenton ready to go on the ice
Mats ready to score
Trenton waiting for the pass
Swinging their shirts.....crazy boys
We went to the American's game last night and boy was it good. They played the Portland Winter Hawks and they won 9-2. It was especially fun because we got to see Trenton scrimmage during intermission and the Wagners were able to join us so that made it AWESOME! Trenton did really good scoring a back handed goal. "So Sweet" as Trenton would say. To top the night off the boys were able to get autographs and a puck from the game from Chet Pickard the Ams goalie. The boys had a GREAT time. Here are some pics from the fun night. Trenton is the one in the "MATS" #13 jersey......one of his coaches calls him MATS from the Toronto Maple leafs. He thinks that is pretty cool.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope you all have a Happy Love Day! Here is another picture of my second batch of Homemade Peppermint Oreo Cookies. The first batch went to fast and I needed to eat more! Yah Right.

...HOMEMADE OREO COOKIES...

1 pkg Devil's Food Cake Mix

1 tbs Flour

2 Eggs

3/4 Cup Crisco

10 Peppermints (optional)

Cream Cheese FrostingMix ingredients in large bowl, roll into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 " apart. If interested in the peppermint ones (which I experimented with this time and they were so delicious!!) crush up peppermint in larger chunks so the stripes are still visible and sprinkle on to top/sides of balls. Bake for 9 minutes at 350 F. Let cool. Sandwich two cookies together with Frosting in the middle. If you are making the Peppermint ones I mixed peppermint chunks into the frosting also...enjoy!!

Some of our Valentine Treats!

We had a fun all weekend cooking party. Trenton wanted to take his teachers cookies so we made cookies, chocolate covered pretzels and Brady and Jenna's home made peppermint oreo's. It was very fun to see the boys so excited. Here are a few pics of our baking. Oh and my sister told me about these Ande's peppermint chocolate chips and my Mom found some after I looked for days and called every store. Mom's are AWESOME!

Then and Now.......Happy 7th Anniversary Brent!

Then...........Our Wedding Day Feb. 10th 2001

From the first time I saw Brent at that American's hockey game in Jan. 1992 I knew I was going to marry him. Weather he knew it or not I did. I love him so much and can't believe I married the man of my dreams. I am thankful for him and all he does for me and our little family. I love you Brent! Wow look how far we have come.

And Now.........Feb. 9, 2008

I will post a pic after I get them done. For now I am posting a few cute pics of Crew and Nana baking heart cookies........... And of course chocolate covered pretzels. Trenton was busy playing hockey with his Papa but was thankful Mom and Crew baked with Nana. It was a fun day!
